Life Of T - A Look At Life Through My Lens

Calling all ministries, missions, or...whatever...

As many of you know I am part of the Caffeinated Faith Podcast - one thing we've always tried to do is be a place where a ministry - small, medium or large, can have a place to talk about what they do.  More importantly, I think, than what their ministry does - is WHY they do it.

So, I'm putting the call out to all ministries or missions - we want you on our show.  We want to hear what you are doing & why you are doing it.  We want to hear the stories of lives being impacted AND we want to give you a chance to be heard. People out there need to hear about what is going on in your ministry - and hopefully be moved to give of their time or money to help.

If you are a ministry leader, volunteer, participant in, or in any way associated with a ministry that you think needs to be heard - PLEASE contact us - please reply to this post - Tweet us - or email us (info(at)caffeinatedfaith.com).  You can even call us 224.208.8288.  We would love to have you on the podcast & blog about what you are doing.

Much Love,

The Choo-Choo

One thing my son loves, besides wrestling with Daddy & tormenting his sister, is trains.  The little guy loves trains.  So, we decided to take a trip The Choo-Choo in Des Plaines, IL.  You order your food & it gets delivered to you on a model train.

Needless to say....Owen loved it.

James 1:26-27

These two verses have been kicking me in the teeth lately. What's been kicking you?

Summer Time!

I was looking through my Aperture library at some of the pictures from this summer.  We really did have a lot of fun!

Thinking

It looks like my son (4years old) is just sitting there thinking in
this picture. The truth is that he got put on a time out from the
swimming pool and is a little ticked at his mom - who happens to be
the one snapping the photo.

The Blue Cast

Maddy went to the Dr yesterday to get her broke arm set (OUCH!) and the put into a hard cast.  Up to this point she has been in a soft cast.  I'm amazed at how strong my little girl is.  She only shed a few tears - and the Dr was amazed at how well she handled him snapping her broken bones back into place.  Heck, I almost cry just thinking about it!!

So, here it is - the light blue cast that she will have for about 6 weeks.

Broken Arm

Yesterday Maddy was riding a Razor Scooter & fell.  Fell hard.  She broke her arm in two places.  It's pretty obvious when you look at the x-rays.  Maddy has been one tough little girl & hasn't complained at all!  Right now she has a soft cast on her arm.  On Monday she is going to see an Orthopedic Dr. to make sure everything looks good before the hard cast gets put on.

Compassion Thursday

I'm a little late - cuz I forgot - but today is Thursday & it is the day we try to get a child sponsored.

Kenneth is from Nicaragua:

Your tax-deductible contribution of just $38 a month connects your child with a loving, church-based child sponsorship program that provides:

  • Food and clean water
  • Medical care
  • Educational opportunities
  • Important life-skills training
  • Most important of all, your sponsored child will hear about Jesus Christ and be encouraged to develop a lifelong relationship with God.

If you can sponsor Kenneth - please click here to help.

Toothless "Say - Cheese"

I love my sons smile.  It's infectious.  It's something that ALWAYS brightens my day & makes me laugh.  No matter how hard the day has been - just seeing Owen's toothless smile does wonders to make it all disappear.

It's Been Awhile

I'm not sure if anyone still visits this site, but if you do...I'm sorry.  I haven't put much up here in awhile because I've been in the process of building a new site.  You can visit my new website here.  This is the place where my "professional" work will be posted.  It's also a place where you can send people that might want to have some amazingly awesome pictures taken!  :)  So, that's what I've been working on - and that's the place where my wife & I are starting Meant To Be Photography.

So, what's going to happen with Life of T?  Well, this will turn into more of my personal blog.  For years I had Caffeinatedfaith.com as my personal blog - but that has now turned into a Podcast that I do with a few friends.  Life of T will be the place I post pictures of the kids, the dog, and just other stuff I'm shooting.  I may rant from time to time about a subject...or...who knows?  I am going to be changing this site up a bit in the coming weeks - but please be sure to come back & check it out.

Also, be sure to check out the Meant To Be Photography Flickr account.

So, Please check out our new site & let everyone you know where they can get some sweet photographs taken!  :)

Thanks,
T

Dan has been my best friend since 4th grade band class.  He pretty much introduced me to my wife.  My wife & I introduced him to his wife.  We had the privilege to do a photo shoot with Dan & his amazing family.

**This was the first photo shoot that my wife & I did together.  So, this is a mix of her shots & my shots.

Pictures of Mom

This is my mom.  She came over last night for my daughters birthday.  While she was here I decided to pull out the umbrella & flash to take a few pictures of her.

Mom, Thanks for putting up with me!  :)

Love ya!

Family Shots

It's always hard to get the family to sit still for a few shots.  But we did it.

As you can see - we don't take ourselves too seriously.
