Before & After - Pic of the Day- 14 of 365

I hate shaving. But today I had to finally break down and shave. The hair on my head in the "before" picture below is the longest it's been in at least 10+ years. My beard wasn't too bad because I'm not so lazy that I don't trim it from time to time, but I just hate taking the time to shave. So, I figured I would make my "pic of the day" a before/after shot. Honestly, it's not that dramatic....since I don't have much hair growth.

**Not sure why I have such a "mad face" in the after.

No More Excuses

Read a post over at Chase Jarvis web site that featured this video.

Chase writes:

I've heard you say that there's nothing to take a picture of. I've heard you say you don't know what to make, when to make it, how to make it, what to do. I've heard you say that you don't know how to get your work "out there".

Later he brings it home, at least for me, when he writes:

It's not any ONE thing we do. We might make a splash with something, but that is short lived. Just like I don't get to know you through a first introduction at a party. Or via a single tweet, for example. I get to know about you through lots of interactions or the sum of your twitter stream. It's the collection of our work--the repeat cycle of making things and sending them out into the word--that helps us illustrate who we are, what we stand for, where we're going and why.

Go make something and share it.

Vacation Is Amazing...

Today was one of those days you are sure you'll never forget. Like the day you get married - or when your kids are born. Today...we got to swim with Dolphins.

The bald head bobbing in the water - well, that's me.  My wife is right next to the yellow raft.  For about 20+ minutes we got pretty close to some dolphins just off the coast.  We counted at lesat 8 total and a couple baby calfs were with them.  It looks like these dolphins just keep swimming up & down the coast of the island.  Each time they would breach we could hear them exhale - yes, that's how close we were. Amazing day. Here is a link to the gallery of about 150+ more pictures from our vacation so far.....
